The actor took them to a very fancy restaurant that night and they all enjoyed dining on fine food and drinking great wine and talking about sports and women.
The next day, the actor called up one of the young men and asked if he would like to get together for dinner again. The man agreed, and although the other two couldn’t make it, they had another wonderful night out at another nice restaurant, with the two of them drinking and the actor regaling him with stories about his life in show business. This happened several days in a row.
The actor then began texting the man several times a day… until one of the man’s friends clued him in that he actor was gay, and that he saw their dinner dates as actual “date dates”.
The naïve young man had no idea the actor was gay. He just thought that he had just become pals with a famous actor! So when the actor texted him – as usual – the next day, the young man mentioned that he was really glad that they had become friends and that he enjoyed his company, but that he just wanted to make sure that the actor knew that he was straight and that he had a girlfriend.
The actor replied, “I don’t know where you got the idea from that I ever wanted anything more! I’m totally straight and I just want to be your friend!” But after that, the man never heard from the actor again, and the actor never replied to his texts again.
Yes, the actor is still in the closet.
Days of Our Lives Hot Gay Kiss: Brian & Sonny Make Out In Coffee House While Will Watches In The Background.
Last week Thursday, I did not have the opportunity to watch the NBC broadcast for Days of Our Lives. I heard rumours that there was a hot gay kiss so I had to watch the episode on You Tube. A lot of people have commented on the internet that Chandler Massey the actor who plays Will Horton seems uncomfortable kissing his co star Freddie Smith in the gay love scenes. Bloggers have noticed when Will and Sonny kiss their mouths are closed. However, on Thursday’s episode a guest star Brant Daugherty his character Brian is the villain in the gay storyline. Last year, Brian let Sonny know he was interested in dating him. However, Sonny brushed Brian off and rejected him so Brian backed off. Meanwhile, last month in an explosive scene it was revealed during Gabi Hernandez and Nick Fallon’s wedding that Will Horton is the father of Gabi’s baby. The reason this is explosive is, Will is gay yet he is confused about his sexuality. Now, Brian is back in Salem he visits Sonny Kiriakis the other gay character at his coffeehouse and he makes a move. Since Sonny is upset that Will lied to him about getting his ex girlfriend Gabi Hernandez pregnant he passionately kisses Brian. The kiss between Brian and Sonny is rare on mainstream television to see two men make out with such desire is not common on network TV.
In Friday’s episode, Brian and Sonny continue to make out but Sonny’s boyfriend Will Horton creeps up to the coffee house peeking through the window blinds he sees the guys kissing passionately. Of course, Will is crushed and extremely upset. Brian and Sonny decide to take their make out session to Brian’s apartment and drink wine. Brian attempts to seduce Sonny on his bed by kissing him and having sex with him. Sonny tells Brian he can’t just have sex to him because he wants more than just a one night stand. Brian plays it cool, but he goes to the Brady pub where Will is finishing is university homework and implies that he had sex with Sonny.
I am surprised, the Days of our Lives producers allowed Brian and Sonny to make out on a bed. It is still rare on television to see two men kissing on a bed with desire and lust. A couple of years ago, on the soap As The World Turns, the gay characters Luke and Noah were prohibited from having a love scene on a bed together. Luke and Noah also did not have a sex scene. The gay storyline for Days of Our Lives isn’t perfect, but it indeed very progressive. The show’s writers and producers seem to be not allowing the negative feedback on Facebook, and other sites stop them from allowing the gay characters to have sex lives. For a long time on television, gay characters were asexual and just second class characters in the background.
I still believe that the love scene on the bed between Brian and Sonny was too short but I loved the fact Brian tried to unlock Sonny’s belt. I thought the scene was well done. There is still a bit of difference though between how the straight characters on Days of Our Lives express their sexuality and how the gay characters are allowed to be sexual. For instance, Will and Sonny have had only one proper love scene last year in November but there was no actual sex scene. The audience saw the foreplay which involved kissing, and then the after glow. The audience is left with our imagination to wonder how good the sex was. I understand Daytime television has limits on how far the sex scenes can go. Days of Our Lives is definitely moving in the right direction in allowing the gay characters to have sex lives just like the heterosexual characters.

The NFL has no current players and startlingly few ex-players who are known to be gay, but it appears ex-49ers and Raiders offensive tackle Kwame Harris, a former first-round pick, has involuntarily been added to the list as a result of the legal fallout from a fight at a restaurant.
According to the San Mateo Daily Journal, a dispute over soy sauce at Su Hong restaurant in Menlo Park, Calif. last Aug. 21, has landed the former NFL player in court after he assaulted his ex-boyfriend.

Chief deputy district attorney Karen Guidotti told the paper that Harris and the alleged victim had been in a romantic relationship but were not involved at the time of the incident. Harris’ attorney Alin Cintean confirmed to the paper the two “were previously involved” but were just friends when the incident occurred.
Harris pleaded not guilty to felony charges of domestic violence causing great bodily injury and assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury, the Daily Journal said. The dispute started when Harris got upset at his friend, Dimitri Geier, for pouring soy sauce on a plate of rice.
According to the paper, which was citing a suit filed in San Mateo County Superior Court, the two argued for seven minutes after the soy sauce was poured, and Harris said he wasn’t going to take Geier to the airport as he had said he would. When the two went to get Geier’s belongings from Harris’ car, Harris accused Geier of stealing his underwear and tried pulling the man’s pants down.
Geier tried unsuccessfully to get away, and Harris shook Geier and punched his arms, the paper said. Harris is 6-foot-7 and 240 pounds and Geier is 6-1, 220 pounds. The paper said Geier allegedly struck Harris three times in the face, and then Harris punched Geier several times in the face.

Geier was taken to an emergency room, and had surgery to repair broken orbital bones and required a metal plate to fix the damage, the paper said. The Daily Journal said Geier has filed a civil suit against Harris for assault, battery, false imprisonment, negligence and both intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress. Harris could also face up to seven years in prison if convicted, Guidotti told the paper.
Harris played at Stanford and was a first-round pick of the 49ers in 2003. He played in 86 NFL games, starting 55, including 11 games during his lone season with the Raiders in 2008. That was the last time he played in the NFL.
Harris’ lawyer told the paper his client was acting in self-defense and that Geier is just trying to get money through the civil suit.
“We’re looking forward to having this proven in court and clearing his name,” Cintean said.
Milos Raonic Loses In Second Round Of Wimbledon Is He The Real Deal Or Just Canadian Media Hype?
I am not surprised that Milos Raonic lost to Sam Querrey in the second round of Wimbledon because I knew it was going to be a tough match. Querrey defeated Raonic 6-7 7-6 7-6 6-4. On paper, Raonic was the favourite because he’s ranked number 21 and Queerey is ranked 64th. However, Querrey is a former top twenty player and he’s coming back from an elbow injury.
This is a terrible result because Rafael Nadal lost yesterday and the door was open for Raonic to do some damage at Wimbledon. Raonic was supposed to reach the fourth round at least and he already has beaten Andy Murray. Since Raonic is the twenty first seed losing in the second round just proves he has a long way to go before he can be considered a contender at a grand slam. Raonic has won three small events in his career but he hasn’t demonstrated that he is ready to take the next big step.
The question has to be asked is Milos Raonic just Canadian media hype? Are Canadians expecting too much from Raonic? In Canada, we have never had a male tennis player ranked in the top twenty five. I understand the excitement of having a talented young Canadian male player competing for Canada. However, Raonic isn’t even ranked in the ATP top twenty he’s currently ranked number twenty one. Raonic hasn’t beaten the big three Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, or Roger Federer. Raonic lost to Federer three times this year in in three set matches. Raonic is close but he still needs a lot of improvement in his game before the Canadian press should call this young man a contender.
How can Raonic be a contender to win Wimbledon when the kid isn’t even ranked in the top ten? I believe Raonic is too nice, too soft, too Canadian. After Raonic lost to Querrey he’s smiling and having a conversation with him. Why is Raonic smiling he just lost the match no need to smile. Where is the bitterness and the anger? Where is the rage? Raonic should be furious at himself for not coming through with the victory.
Milos is an attractive, intelligent young man and he’s very thoughtful but I am not sure if he has the killer instinct? Raonic seems to want to be liked by his peers on the ATP Tour the question is why? The professional tennis tour is competitive, but I am not sure if Raonic has that intense desire to become a champion? I am not saying Raonic needs to be rude but I think he needs to distance himself from the other players emotionally.
Raonic has never reached the quarterfinals of a grand slam event and he hasn’t won a Masters series title. The Canadian media are obsessed with Raonic’s big serve which is a weapon. Raonic also has a powerful forehand and he volleys very well.
However, a closer inspection of Raonic’s game reveals some weaknesses. First, Raonic’s backhand is a weakness and the other men on the ATP Tour have figured it out. Raonic has an excellent slice backhand but his two handed backhand he makes a lot of errors off of it. Raonic tends to hit his two handed backhand into the net a lot. Second, Raonic also has a poor break point conversion rate he doesn’t break serve enough. Raonic can hold his serve which is very important but he has difficulty breaking his opponent’s serve.
A lot of Raonic’s matches have 7-6 scores because he’s not breaking serve enough and hoping to win the set in a tiebreaker. In order for Raonic to reach the top ten he needs to break his opponent’s serve. Raonic’s coach Galo Blanco need to help Raonic realize he’s got to improve his return game if he wants to become a champion.
Raonic only broke Querrey’s serve once despite having five opportunities to break his serve.
Third, Raonic’s movement isn’t the best he moves okay for a six foot five man but he isn’t quick. Raonic needs to improve his movement on the court.
Fourth, I think the Canadian media is to blame because the expectations are simply too high for Raonic. He is only twenty one years of age he needs more time to mature mentally and physically into his body. Finally, I think Raonic needs to improve his fitness he’s skinny but he needs some definition on his body he seems rather fragile. Raonic doesn’t have the ripped abs and muscles like Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. Also, if Raonic was more physically fit he wouldn’t get tired in his tennis matches.

MONTREAL — The foot and hand that were mailed to two Vancouver-area schools are believed to belong to Lin Jun — the man Luka Rocco Magnotta is accused of killing, dismembering and cannibilizing, police say.
The body parts were mailed from Montreal, and all evidence collected thus far indicates they belong to Lin, Montreal police Cmdr. Ian Lafreniere said Wednesday.
DNA testing will be conducted to be certain. Vancouver police are delivering the foot and hand back to Montreal.
Montreal police revealed at a news conference Tuesday that the head, right foot and right hand of Lin were still missing.
Later the same day, two packages, one containing a right foot and another containing a right hand, were opened by staff at the two schools in Vancouver.
The hand was delivered to False Creek elementary school at 1 p.m. Vancouver time, the foot to St. George’s School about an hour later.
Lafreniere did not say why those schools were chosen.
He said Magnotta is known to have travelled widely, including to Canada’s West Coast.
It was also not known why the packages arrived a week later than those that were sent to Ottawa. It’s not believed Magnotta had an accomplice, Lafreniere said. To date, four packages have been recovered.
Vancouver police said Wednesday that “authorities in Montreal will be taking over the investigation into the discovery of human remains contained in packages mailed to two separate Vancouver schools.”
Montreal police homicide investigators have been placed in charge after their counterparts in Vancouver “noted that the packaging and addresses on the boxes sent to Vancouver were similar to that of the packages discovered earlier this week in Eastern Canada.”
“The disturbing contents, a right hand and a right foot from an as yet unidentified victim, will be sent to Montreal today (Wednesday) for further forensic examination.”
Magnotta was captured in Berlin on Monday after a six-day global hunt.
He is accused of killing and dismembering Jun, a 33-year-old Concordia University computer science student, in late May, and of mailing his feet and hands to political parties in Ottawa and the two schools in British Columbia.
Lin’s torso and other body parts were found outside Magnotta’s apartment building in Montreal.
Lafreniere confirmed that members of Lin’s family have arrived in Montreal.
Their whereabouts will be closely guarded, Lafreniere noted, because of the media storm surrounding the case internationally.
A realistic fake foot was discovered by a passerby in Montreal’s Notre Dame de Grace district Wednesday, spurring a full police investigation and raising fears of a copycat killer.
“This is not the type of joke to be making at this time, considering the events of the last weeks,” Montreal police spokesman Yannick Ouimet said.
The incident is being investigated, and charges of mischief could be laid, he said.
Police said they are still looking into pressing charges against website owners who have been posting the video that is believed to show the dismemberment of Lin.
Investigating the case through online sources has been complicated by the fact Magnotta created at least 70 Facebook pages dedicated to himself, and there are more than 40 more that fans and detractors have put up.

Human remains sent to two Vancouver schools
Two Vancouver schools remain cordoned off with police tape following the grisly discovery this afternoon of separate packages containing body parts.
Vancouver police say a staff member at False Creek Elementary School opened a package at 1 p.m. this afternoon and discovered what appeared to be a human hand.
Staff at St. George’s School later opened up a package containing what appeared to be a human foot.
Vancouver police and the B.C. Coroners Service are trying to determine the identity of the victim and the origin of the packages.
James Gemmill has a child at False Creek Elementary and learned about the incident on Twitter. He hadn’t received any information about it from the school or the Vancouver School Board.
“I understand this happened a few hours ago, and staff and teachers must have been shocked, but it would be good information to pass on to parents,” he said.
Gemmill was waiting to hear more and speak with his wife before deciding whether they should be concerned about keeping their child in school.
“Who knows? We need more information, whether it’s connected to Montreal [the Luka Magnotta case] or even a copycat, which would be even more troubling.
“We’ll just wait for more information from the police, I guess.”
Roberto Rocca, a reporter at the Montreal Gazette, said Montreal Police are talking with Vancouver police but they are not confirming a link between the body parts in Vancouver and the Magnotta case.
Police said there is no indication that any of the students and staff at either school have been targeted.

The manhunt for body-parts suspect Luka Rocco Magnotta, is over. The Montrealer, whose image was believed to have been captured earlier at a security checkpoint area in France, has been arrested in Berlin, police confirm.APLuka Magnotta, the fugitive “Canadian psycho” killer, has been nabbed in Berlin, German police say.
Magnotta was picked up in an Internet café in the German capital, the newspaper Bild reports.
Berlin police have confirmed the arrest.
Earlier, Montreal police said they expected the 29-year-old’s lust for attention would be his downfall sooner or later.
Magnotta had been the subject of an international manhunt for the gruesome killing and dismemberment of a student in Montreal. The self-described porn star had first been detected in France by police using his cellphone as a beacon. They even managed to find a hotel room where he had been staying.
“The man was seen in France, that’s what French authorities told us,” police spokesman Ian Lafreniere told reporters. Lafreniere cautioned that Magnotta may no longer be in that country, and wouldn’t rule out the possibility he had headed elsewhere in Europe or could eventually try to return to Canada.
“He can travel, he’s someone who has been known to travel, so we’re not taking any chances and we want to keep an open mind,” Lafreniere said. “We’ve received more than 360 tips, it’s huge, people really want to help.”
Magnotta, dubbed the Canadian psycho in the European press, is wanted in the gruesome slaying of Jun Lin, 33, a Chinese student at Montreal’s Concordia University. Lin’s torso was found in a suitcase left for garbage collection outside Magnotta’s Montreal apartment last week. Other severed body parts, including a hand and a foot, were mailed to the offices of the federal Conservatives and Liberals.
Police believe Lin was killed and his body dismembered either on May 24 or 25 in a Montreal apartment. A 10-minute video showing what transpired was then posted online.
French media reported Sunday that personal belongings of the porn actor were found in a hotel in suburban Paris. The reports said police discovered pornographic magazines as well as air-sickness bags from the airplane he took to Paris from Montreal.
Le Figaro reported that police were able to pinpoint part of Magnotta’s itinerary through his cellphone activity. It was unclear whether Magnotta was still in the Paris area on Sunday, but Le Figaro reported that authorities had beefed up their presence at railway stations and airports.
Having earlier indicated that Magnotta is good at disguising himself, Lafreniere said Saturday that the suspect could now be anywhere in Europe, though authorities haven’t ruled out the possibility he may be back in Canada.
Police described Magnotta as being 5 feet, 8 inches tall and about 135 pounds, with black hair and blue eyes.
Interpol has issued an international alert out for Magnotta, 29, who was born Eric Clinton Newman and has also used the name Vladimir Romanov. Pictures posted Sunday on Magnotta’s page on the Interpol website show a man with dark hair and a black Mickey Mouse shirt passing through airport security. The airport wasn’t identified.
Magnotta arrived at the Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport on May 26 and was later identified on surveillance cameras, according to Le Figaro. He was apparently put up for one night by a man who later contacted authorities after realizing who his guest had been.
One published report said Magnotta was spotted in a bar and in a hotel where he spent two nights. Another French newspaper, Le Parisien, quoted the manager of a bar who said Magnotta ordered a soft drink at his establishment last Wednesday night and appeared “very nervous.”
The bar manager said the fugitive left with a man who had an “impressive physique.”
An official in the Paris prosecutor’s office, speaking on condition of anonymity, said police are looking into the alleged sightings but had no additional details.
Meanwhile, the Chinese embassy in Ottawa has issued a statement advising Chinese visitors to Canada to take safety precautions.

Toronto police have finished searching the Eaton Centre and are now combing through surveillance tape of a shooting that killed a 25-year-old man and left several others injured Saturday evening.
Among those hurt is a 13-year-old boy who got sent to hospital in critical condition, a 20-year-old man also with life-threatening injuries and a pregnant woman who was knocked down in the chaos and went into labour, according to Toronto Police Constable Victor Kwong.
Two other women and one other man are seriously hurt.
No arrests have been made.
The area around the mall, Toronto’s largest shopping centre in the downtown core, was quickly blocked off Saturday evening and the Eaton Centre itself was evacuated and closed down. It was reopened a few hours after the 6:23 p.m. shooting.
Marcus Neves-Polonio, a 19-year-old busser at the food court, says he was walking when a man took out a gun and started firing near the Big Smoke Burger.
Mr. Neves-Polonio says he witnessed someone being shot right in the chest.
He says he saw two people on the ground.
He ducked under a table. “I just hoped he wouldn’t go in my direction,” he said. “I easily could have been shot, too.”
The scene became “mayhem” as people scattered, running for the doors, said Mr. Neves-Polonio.
Toronto Mayor Rob Ford came to the mall after 9 p.m. to express his sadness.
“First of all, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the victims … hopefully they pull through. This incident tonight is absolutely terrible, and I’m here to offer my support to the police,” Mr. Ford told media.
“I was just at a football game this afternoon with 13-, 14-year-old kids … I hope the young man pulls through, and I’ll do everything I can to support him, his family and all the other shooting victims too.”
The mayor was joined shortly after by police Chief Bill Blair, who said that “we are very much at the early stages of this investigation.” He encouraged anyone with information about the shooting to contact 52 Division at (416) 808-5200.
He said police had a description of the suspect, but police were waiting to confirm several details before providing that description to the public.
“A lot of innocent people were hurt and a lot of innocent people were put at risk,” Chief Blair told media outside the mall. “We will be relentless in our pursuit of the individual or individuals responsible for this violence.”
Ujjawal Patel, 28, said he was inside the Eaton Centre when he heard 12 to 15 shots ring out. He quickly fled.
“I was so scared,” said Mr. Patel. “If it can happen in the Eaton Centre it can happen anywhere.”
One of the first to report the shooting was Toronto Blue Jays player Brett Lawrie, via Twitter.
It’s not the first time the area has seen gunfire.
In 2005, a 15-year-old was killed and six others were wounded on Boxing Day, 2005, when shots rang out just north of the shopping centre.
