Agnieszka Radwanska Loses Wimbledon Semifinal Internet Explodes Over Her Cold Handshake.
I don’t see the big deal here, Agnieszka Radwanska, just lost a heartbreaking Wimbledon semifinal to Sabine Lisicki 6-4 2-6 9-7. Agnieszka is ranked fourth in the world yet, she hasn’t won a slam. The door was open for Agnieszka to finally win a grand slam because Serena Williams, Victoria Azarenka, Maria Sharapova lost early. Agnieszka, was probably irritated by Sabine Lisicki’s theatrics whenever she wins a match. Lisicki rolling around on the grass is rude, to me it is a form of boasting and digging a salt into an opponent’s wound.
Agnieszka also has a 7-0 record head to head with Marion Bartoli the French woman who is Lisicki’s opponent in the Wimbledon final.
This is tough for Agnieszka, she knows this was a huge chance to finally breakthrough and win a slam it is a bitter pill to swallow.
I feel bad for Aga, she really wanted to win Wimbledon badly, I hope this loss lights a fire in Aga she needs to work harder on her serve. The serve was the difference in this match Aga needs to improve her second serve. Although Aga is disappointed, she fought so hard, and she gave everything she had. I think Aga was tired because she already played three difficult three set matches to reach the semifinals.
Aga is only twenty four years old, and I believe Aga will win a grand slam one day.
Surprising Result: Nadia Petrova Upsets Agnieszka Radwanska 6-0 1-6 6-3 & Wins WTA Event In Tokyo Japan!
Well this is a surprise, Nadia Petrova of Russia upsets the world number three Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland 6-0 1-6 6-3 and wins the WTA title in Tokyo Japan. Petrova is thirty years old and a very talented player but she always lacked the mental toughness. Petrova has a huge serve, powerful groundstrokes, volleys well, and she is a solid doubles player. Petrova doesn’t move very well on the court and her fitness is not at the highest level.
Sometimes Petrova is mentally fragile but she held it together mentally to win the biggest title of her career.
Agnieszka had a solid week, but I believe she needs to develop some weapons. If Agnieszka is going to breakthrough and win a grand slam she needs to improve her second serve. I also think Agnieszka needs to take more chances on the court and go for more winners.
Agnieszka Radwanska Destroys Maria Sharapova In Straight Sets To Win Miami Masters Event!!
Well done Agnieszka Radwanska she upsets Maria Sharapova and wins the Miami Masters in straight sets. This is Radwanska’s second victory over Sharapova since the 2008 US Open.
Sharapova’s game is too one dimensional she doesn’t have any variety she just hits the ball hard. Radwanska changed the pace and used drop shots, angles, and lobs to push Sharapova all over the court.
Well done Agnieszka!
