Bad News Soap Fans: Spoilers Indicate Next Week On Days Of Our Lives Gay Character Will Horton Has Sex With A Woman & Sonny Gets Gay Bashed!!!
According to the spoilers next week, for the NBC soap Days of Our Lives the gay character Will Horton played by Chandler Massey is going to have grief sex with his ex girlfriend Gabi Hernandez! Gabi and Will broke up last year because she suspected he is gay. So now Gabi and Will are going to have sex? It doesn’t make any sense! The logical conclusion is, Days of Our Lives is trying to appease multiple audiences and NBC is afraid of upsetting their sponsors.
It is strange to see this kind of homophobia by NBC because I am a Canadian. On Canadian television gay and lesbian characters have thrived since the 1980s.
Canadian television is a million miles ahead of American television in relation to the topic of homosexuality.
I remember watching Degrassi Junior High in the 1980s and Caitlin thought she was a lesbian and had a crush on her teacher Miss Avery.
One of Caitlin’s friends, Kathleen accuses Caitlin of being a lesbian because she was jealous of her.
Even Suzy, Caitlin’s best friend asked her if she was a lesbian.
At the end of the episode, Caitlin realized she isn’t lesbian and Miss Avery is not gay.
In the mid 1980s, lesbianism discussed in an honest and truthful manner on mainstream Canadian television!
Degrassi Junior High dealt with a serious topic of a young girl questioning her sexuality in a mature and honest manner.
Sometimes, I forget that America is not as progressive as Canada in relation to LGBT issues.
Another point to consider is, on Days of Our Lives, Freddie Smith his character Sonny who is Will`s love interest gets gay bashed by this homophobic jerk Tad.
So why couldn’t Days of Our Lives allow Sonny and Brian to have killer hot sex? Wouldn’t it be amazing if Sonny and Brian got to roll around in a bed naked all sweaty, panting, and making out? Well, since Days of Our Lives is an American soap it will be a cold day in hell before the audience gets to see an authentic gay male sex scene!
A lot of people online are very upset because for the past year Days of Our Lives promised the soap fans that Will and Sonny will have a gay romance.
Since Will just came out this year, his character has grown more confident in accepting his homosexuality. So why would Days make Will have sex with a woman?
Days of Our Lives is destroying Will and making him bisexual instead of gay.
Meanwhile, Will`s love interest Sonny is basically asexual. Sonny is supposed to be gay yet he has never kissed another guy until next week or had sex.
The hypocrisy of daytime television in America is abhorrent. The heterosexual characters can have sex scenes rolling around in bed together but Sonny, Will, and Brian can’t have a love scene in a bed!
The spoilers indicate next week Monday, Sonny kisses Will but he is rejected. Will tells Sonny he only sees him as a friend and not as a potential boyfriend. Of course, Sonny is hurt and he accuses Will of being a closet case and not proud to be gay. Will runs off to his grandmother Marlena the town shrink to figure out his feelings. Marlena tries to get Will to see he is sexually attracted to Sonny and give love a chance.
Meanwhile, on the next episode next week Tuesday, Sonny runs into Brian an attractive openly gay man played by Brant Daugherty. Brian warned Sonny in July that Will Horton has a lot of baggage and he is wasting his time with him. Will sees Brian and Sonny and he freaks out and runs away.
Will runs off and he somehow ends up in Gabi`s bed and they have sex. The only reason I can think of Will and Gabi having sex is she is going to get pregnant. The beautiful Camila Banus is the scheming Gabi Hernandez. Gabi`s last storyline she attempted to smash Chad and Melanie`s relationship by hiring a stalker to chase her around Salem. However, the stalker Andrew turned out to be psycho and he kidnapped Melanie. Chad finds out next week that Andrew and Gabi worked together and he kicks her out of his apartment.
The anger many soap fans have is, Days of Our Lives is promoting homophobia. Gay men we are sexually attracted to other men not women! Will having sex with Gabi promotes a homophobic message that all a gay man needs is a hot woman to turn him straight.
Also, Sonny getting gay bashed is a recycled storyline from One Life To Live two years ago! In the year 2009, the character Nick got gay bashed and he used the bashing incident to come between the gay couple Kyle and Oliver. Kyle and Oliver are the only gay male couple on American daytime television to have a gay sex scene! In fact, on One Life To Live Kyle and Oliver had multiple kissing scenes and they even talked about safer sex and using condoms.
Days of Our Lives is upsetting a lot of soap fans it is the year 2012 it is time for NBC to treat gay men with dignity and respect. I am cognizant that Days of Our Lives core audience is heterosexual women. However, since Days decided to have a couple gay men on the show of course the audience demands the gay male characters be treated just like the straight characters. If Melanie and Chad can have sex then so can Will, Sonny, and Brian!

Canada’s Milos Raonic is making his third main draw appearance at the Rogers Cup.Canadian Milos Raonic has been blazing up the South African Airways ATP Rankings with three titles in the past two years, and has quickly become the talk of the tennis world wherever he goes. Receiving well-deserved hype for being the next big-time player to challenge the likes ofNovak Djokovic, Rafael Nadaland Roger Federer, many observers believe that he is one breakthrough away from a Grand Slam title.
Raonic took some time out to discuss what he likes to do when he’s home in Toronto and what the Canadian system needs to do in order to produce more world class players.
You grew up in Thornhill. What do you like best about that neighbourhood?
I like the area in general. It allowed my family to feel comfortable whenever I was out and about. I also like the varieties of food, from all you can eat sushi, to Korean barbecue, to shawarma — you have everything you want and it’s very good quality. You are close to downtown Toronto, but also far away enough from it so that you don’t get caught up in the wrong things.
As a kid/teenager, did you venture much to downtown Toronto? What were some of your favourite places?
I went downtown mostly for tennis when I was younger, to play at the Toronto Lawn Tennis Club or the Cricket Club, but when I did go for other things it was mostly for my friends or to go to the Eaton Centre. Now I go more to enjoy a night out.

How often do you make it back to Toronto during the year? What do you like to do when you’re back?
I make it back a few times a year, but never for more than two weeks. I just like to relax and forget about tennis for a little when I’m outside theRogers Cup. I try to do different things every time to learn more about the city. I tend to go down to the Lakeshore a bit to walk, and to the west side of the city for good food.
Where in Toronto did you learn to play tennis?
I started at the Blackmore Tennis Club in Richmond Hill. I spent many years there. I also attended many different clubs — I trained for a few years at the Cricket Club. Now when I come home I normally go to the Toronto Lawn Tennis Club and the Rexall Centre.
Do you think Toronto is well-equipped to breed tennis players?
Yes. I think the weather is not the best for tennis but there are definitely the facilities. I think the only problem can be the fees for both court times and memberships. But I hope the clubs lower this for kids they see have potential and try to support them like the clubs I attended did for me and my family.
What advice would you give to Toronto kids aspiring to play on the ATP World Tour? At what point should a junior think about getting instruction elsewhere?
Hard work always pays off. In tennis as in all sports there are always up and downs, but stick to it. Surround yourself with people you trust and believe in the work you do — that will get you far. The rest takes a bit of good fortune and luck. I ventured out of Canada for the competition and because I wanted to surround myself with people I knew could make the best of my abilities.
Where does the Rogers Cup rank in terms of your favourite tournaments? Do you feel the home court gives you an advantage over other players?
I think it’s one of my favourites. I think the only tournament that trumps it for me is Wimbledon and only because of its prestige, and the fact that it’s a grand slam and the ultimate dream for me.
What are your three favourite Toronto restaurants?
I like All Star, for its amazing selection of wings. I make sure to go there at least once when I am home. I like a lot of different all-you-can-eat sushi places. I can’t name one because I think they all differ a bit — some have better sashimi and some have better rolls, so I try to change spots often. I also enjoy Lee. I’ve been there once before and was impressed.
What’s something you’ve experienced in other cities you’d like to see in Toronto?
Better weather. Also, internationally, you see a lot of success in many different sports and I think Toronto and Canada should become more passionate about sports other than just hockey. We have great athletes and talents.
What do other ATP tour players like about coming to Toronto? What don’t they like about the city?
They like a lot of things. Sometimes they feel Toronto is so big and it’s easy to get lost in the city, or they wish there was more culture and history like in European cities. They think Toronto girls are beautiful.

Olympics Controversy: Dawn Harper & Kellie Wells Say Media Focusing Too Much Attention On Lolo Jones!!!
Lolo Jones is the Anna Kournikova of track and field she receives a lot of press and has endorsements because she basically exploits her sexuality.
Jones prostitutes herself by selling her sexuality in order to make cash because she knows she’s not the best on the track.
However, at the Olympics Dawn Harper and Kellie Wells of the United States won the silver and bronze medals in the 10o meter women’s hurdles event. Jones finished in fourth place off the podium. Australian Sally Pearson won the 100 meter women’s hurdles in 12.35 seconds she is the dominant woman in this event. The general public wouldn’t know that Harper and Pearson are superior to Lolo Jones due to the media hype.
After Jones lost she complained on the NBC Today show that the New York Times should not attack her because she’s American. Jones deserves the criticism because she’s not the best hurdler in the world.
The mainstream media are attempting to frame Harper and Wells are jealous women who resent Lolo Jones because of her fame.
Beneath the surface, the real resentment that Harper and Wells have for Jones is about black and white America’s obsession with mixed race women. Jones is considered more marketable than Harper and Wells because she’s half white. A female athlete has to conform to the white beauty image in order to make a lot of money. Since Jones looks closer to the white image of femininity she garners more media attention.
Since darker skinned black women are devalued by both white and black America Harper and Wells have a right to speak out against the subliminal racism and sexism.
Harper and Wells were honest they didn’t play the game of trying to pretend they liked Lolo Jones. Harper and Wells comments were refreshing in the end they will be in the history books for winning their Olympic medals not Lolo Jones.
Days Of Our Lives Short Clip: After The Olympics on NBC Will & Sonny Finally Kiss!!!!
Good news Days of our Lives Fans after a whole year of waiting and praying Will and Sonny are finally going to kiss! Check out this clip at the ten second mark Sonny makes a move on Will and kisses him. However, the kiss is kind of sad because it appears Will rejects Sonny. However, the more I think about it, it does appear the gay romance is finally going to happen!! Will and Sonny do need some angst before they become a couple. I just hope Sonny isn’t going to chase Will around Salem. Sonny’s too hot it isn’t believable that other men wouldn’t be interested in him. I hope, Brian or Tad or someone else makes a claim to Sonny and then Will gets jealous realizing Sonny is his true love.
LA Complex Season 2 Episode Three: Kal Confronts Someone From His Past.
I think this episode is the worst one so far in the Kal and Tariq gay storyline. I feel the storyline needs to focus more on Tariq’s feelings and how he is going to overcome the pain of being attacked by his boyfriend. I am tired of Kal being portrayed as a violent thug and a dangerous black man. Where is the growth? Where is the transformation to Kal’s personality? I feel that Kal has not done enough to illustrate to the audience he is sorry about attacking Tariq. All I see is Kal feeling sorry for himself.
