I think Will Smith did the right thing the male Ukrainian reporter was out of line invading Will’s personal space. Will didn’t mind the kiss on the cheek but the reporter went too far trying to kiss Will on the lips. I just surfed some blogs and some gay people are pathetic! Will Smith is NOT homophobic! The reporter just wanted some free publicity apparently this is his gimmick to ambush celebrities. When some stranger invades your personal space trying to kiss you the individual deserve a slap!

I am very happy that Kerry Washington’s ABC show scandal got renewed by the network and will return in fall 2012.
Kerry’s character Olivia Pope is a non stereotypical representation of the modern black woman. It is so refreshing to see a black woman depicted on television to be intelligent, feminine, beautiful, and also vulnerable. It is so rare to see a black actress have the opportunity to be the female lead.
I cringe whenever I watch television shows like Fox’s Glee where the black female character is just the side-show.
I sincerely hope that Shonda Rhimes continues to make Scandal fresh and interesting for television viewers.

I find it refreshing that Olivia Pope and President Grant’s interracial romance is on television. I think it is interesting to see a young black woman and a middle aged white man fall in love.
Although some people claim we live in a post racial world it is rare to see interracial love depicted on television which isn’t licentious. I love that the romance between Olivia and Fitz is tender and loving yet also tragic.
Olivia and President Grant’s relationship is impossible love because he’s married and the President of the United States. Last week, I loved the final scene when Fitz held Olivia in his arms it seemed he never wanted to let her go.

I am very happy for Meagan Good she has won the role of the female lead in the new NBC television show Infamous! It is about time more black actors get the opportunity to shine on mainstream television. I hope NBC gives Infamous a serious chance and promotes and markets the show.
Recently, Meagan starred in the romantic comedy Think Like A Man which is a huge hit grossing over $80 million dollars at the box office.
Meagan’s character Joanna is a detective she will go undercover as a maid to investigate a murder. Black women rarely get the opportunity to shine in leading lady roles on television. I can’t wait until Infamous airs in September 2012!
Male Homosexuality Is Still A Taboo For A List Male Actors In Hollywood!!
Whether John Travolta is gay or not this whole controversy proves one thing, people aren’t even looking at the sexual harassment aspect. The issue here is Travolta is accused of sexually harassing massage therapists. However, the media attention is focusing on one issue whether Travolta is gay or straight. The massage therapist scandal proves the media and general public are more concerned if an A LIST male actor is a homosexual or bisexual.
Male homosexuality is still viewed as shameful something that is dirty, wrong, and illicit. There is a reason no A list male actors in Hollywood have come out because they are fearful of losing the respect of the media and the public.
There is such a double standard in Hollywood. Angelina Jolie, Drew Barrymore, and numerous female actresses claim they are bisexual and people just laugh and giggle. Lindsay Lohan dates another woman nobody cares. However, could you imagine what would happen if say Leonardo Dicaprio or Ryan Gosling said they were bisexual and dated another man? All hell would break loose.

This big actor is in a hairy situation. If he lies, the problem gets bigger. And if he tells the truth, the problem still gets bigger!
If he does settle, he would be forced to continue to lead a life that has made him miserable for many years under even more scrutiny than before. It’s a life he was prepared to leave a few years ago, before he was entrapped by two significant parties in his life.
If he doesn’t settle, the threat of all his secrets coming out at once would destroy his career, his family, and his bank account.
Contrary to what you may believe, he is not a very smart or strong person, and he has been rather easily manipulated by others into leading a life that is outwardly successful but inwardly sad and twisted. It’s hard to feel bad for him, though. His fame and money have made him soft and arrogant and careless, and he has made a lot of very conscious and very stupid decisions that have hurt a lot of people (including people very close to him).
And, sadly and ironically, there’s not support for him at home. The two parties closest to him are also the two parties who care more about saving their own reputations and wallets than in helping him achieve authentic happiness. If he doesn’t continue to lie, his wife swears that she will divorce him and take all the money and the child/ren. Meanwhile, the other party is ready to blackmail him into poverty and oblivion.
If there is a way out of this for him that would satisfy all parties, we don’t know what it is. We hear that he is leaning toward more lies and a big payoff. Not surprising, given his history.

Travolta’s wife Kelly Preston is a D list actress but she has more clout in Hollywood because she’s married to Travolta.
Preston is Travolta’s professional beard she has done her part having children with Travolta and helping to create the facade he is straight.
Nobody cared about Preston until she married Travolta so she acquired more fame, media attention, and of course money from the marriage.
Preston also allowed Travolta some respectability and an illusion of heterosexuality.
There are rumours that Preston is threatening to divorce John and of course get a huge divorce settlement. I think this is a sad case of a closeted gay man that cannot come out because he fears the public won’t accept him. Travolta believes in scientology which is against homosexuality. The church of scientology is also anti gay and have a lot of power over Travolta.

The cynical side of me feels that President Obama is just playing politics because he wants to get the gay vote and the liberal vote. Remember this year is an election year in the United States. However, I think it is wonderful that President Obama has finally said he supports gay marriage. Gay people in America deserve the same rights as heterosexuals. It is interesting that the closeted ABC lesbian journalist Robin Roberts interviewed Obama about marriage equality. I wish Robin Roberts would come out of the closet. John Travolta has been sued for assault and sexual battery in federal court by an anonymous masseur, who claims the actor tried to have sex with him after hiring him for a massage.

The plaintiff, identified only as John Doe in the lawsuit obtained by E! News, claims, among other things, that Travolta touched his scrotum and penis after having stripped in front of the masseur.
The suit claims Travolta apologized for his behavior, but continued to pursue the idea of sex with the man and later suggested that they have sex with a “Hollywood starlet in the building that wanted to have three-way sex and to be double penetrated.”
What’s more, the lawsuit claims that the star said he “got where he is now due to sexual favors he had performed when he was in his Welcome Back, Kotter days.”

The court papers also claim the man asked to be taken back to where he was picked up and received double his fee or $800.

“This lawsuit is complete fiction and fabrication,” it reads. “None of the events claimed in the suit ever occurred. The plaintiff, who refuses to give their name, knows that the suit is a baseless lie…On that date when plaintiff claims John met him, John was not in California and it can be proved that he was on the East Coast. Queen Latifah Will Perform At Long Beach Gay Festival Is She Coming Out Of The Closet?
Grammy Award-winning rapper and Academy Award-nominee Queen Latifah is set to headline this year’s annual Long Beach Lesbian & Gay Pride Festival on May 19.
According to the event’s official website, Latifah’s performance will mark her first ever engagement at a Pride celebration.
“From hip to R&B, pop to standards, Queen Latifah is the voice of our generation, and her concert here will be phenomenal,” Long Beach Pride Co-President Pat Crosby said in a statement. “For her to make her worldwide Pride debut here in Long Beach is a tremendous testament to the popularity of our celebration and to the strength of our community.”
In previous years the two day festival, which is considered as one of the nation’s premiere pride events, has also featured musical performances from the likes of Jennifer Hudson, Maya, and India.Arie.
