Should Toronto Teen Michelle Yu Tell The Truth To Taxpayers For Wasting Public Resources For Her Search?

Michelle Yu is eighteen years old she is an adult not a child. Why was taxpayer’s money wasted on a search for an adult woman? Michelle is old enough to go anywhere she pleases without her parents consent. The Toronto media built up this missing person’s case as though Michelle’s life was in danger and it wasn’t.  Yu decided to runaway from the Toronto area to Vancouver last week.  I had a feeling Michelle ran away from home when her parents said in an interview  “we support you”. Michelle did not contact her family for a few days she just decided to not talk to them.

The Toronto police force searched for Michelle and taxpayer’s money was wasted.  I noticed Michelle still hasn’t explained her reasons for running away. I think Michelle was very selfish and immature  to just run off and not tell her family where she was going.

It is hypocritical of Michelle’s family to now want privacy when taxpayers money was wasted searching for her.
