BBC Eastenders: Amira Decides Abandon Her Daughter Yasmin & Give Up Chasing Her Gay Ex Husband Syed And Leaves Walford!!!

I don’t like how Amira just leaves her daughter Yasmin behind with her gay ex husband Syed!

I have so much empathy for Amira she was treated terribly by Syed and Christian.

Amira loves Yasmin it seems bizarre to me that a mother would abandon her daughter like that. It doesn’t make sense to me at all.

I hate how the BBC writers have made Amira into some kind of villain trying to smash Christian and Syed’s relationship.

Syed and Christian are the worst gay couple I’ve seen on television they are both so selfish and immature.

Amira was betrayed by Christian and Syed yet the BBC writers make them look like victims.

People seem to forget that Syed lied to Amira about being a homosexual he married Amira and ruined her life.

Some folks will say Amira needs to just move on and she finally decided to so.

However, Amira never wanted to marry a gay man she was lied to by Syed and his family.

In the Muslim community, Amira is seen as a fallen woman she will be blamed because her husband is gay.

Amira feels she is woman that has “shamed” her family and community because Syed is a homosexual.

Family honour is very important to Muslim culture and I feel the BBC writers didn’t explore this issue in depth.

Amira returned to Walford last fall with revenge. I am not saying Amira is perfect but I understand her anger.

I wish Amira’s exit was better it just seems too rushed to me and very sad. I am very impressed with Preeya Kalidas performance as Amira she illustrated the pain and anger a young woman has being betrayed by her husband.

Syed is no hero here in my mind he is a spineless coward. If  Syed was stronger he would resist his family forcing him to marry Amira. Amira deserved a lot better than Syed.
