Argentine Stud Juan Martin Del Potro Destroys Fernando Verdsaco 6-2 6-2 In Estoril Portugal!!
Yesterday, the 2009 US Open champion Juan Martin Del Potro of Argentina defeated Fernando Verdasco of Spain 6-2 6-2 in the finals of the Estoril Open. Del Potro won his second ATP Tour title of the year. Earlier in the week, Del Potro shocked the fifth ranked Robin Soderling of Sweden 6-4 7-5 in the second round.
Del Potro is a special player because unlike most of the male tennis players he has the mental toughness and desire to win.
Juan Martin is unique because even though he is a six-foot six, tall he moves very well on the tennis court. Most tall players have poor movement but Del Potro has excellent speed and agility.
In January 2011, Del Potro returned to the men’s tennis tour from a serious wrist injury. For most of 2010, Del Potro was on the sidelines recovering from the wrist surgery.
Del Potro ranking will rise to number thirty-two in the world. I am very impressed with Del Potro he is winning a lot of matches. However, but I think tennis fans have to give him more time before he can challenge the elite male tennis players.. I am not sure if Juan Martin Del Potro can beat the top four players Andy Murray, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, or Roger Federer? I think Del Potro needs more time to adjust to the ATP Tour before he can challenge the elite male tennis players.
