Rafael Nadal is the biggest jerk in tennis, everytime Nadal loses he always has an excuse!  Of course, after Nadal lost to Davydenko Nadal made the excuse that he had the flu! What is wrong with this guy?If Nadal was too sick to compete today why didn’t he just default the match? Today, Nikolay Daveydenko of Russia blasted Nadal 6-3 6-2 in the Qatar semifinals. Davydenko beat Nadal in the finals of Qatar last year. In fact, Davydenko has a 6 to 4 edge against Nadal in their head to head series. The reason Davydenko beats Nadal is because he takes the ball early on the rise and doesn’t allow Nadal time to set up his topspin forehand. Nadal is a great player but making excuses about feeling ill is very pathetic and beneath a professional. If Nadal is too sick then he should not have played the match. The Australians have a famous saying fit to play fit to go. Nadal was fit enough to compete then he needs to become more gracious and accept defeat.
