Terrific vids. So sensitive and moving. This man is such a warm and charming and attractive presence, I wish him all the luck.
As a gay white man whose partner is Black, much of what this man discusses hit home for me. My lover has discussed his coming out with me, and just how complex is the Black community’s response to gays. Blacks must wend their way through the very
complicated majority white world, and the last thing they need is to have being gay planted atop this.
To this day, my BF feels far freer to express his affection for me among whites than among Blacks. We live in NYC and hold hands and kiss and embrace and have no compunction about letting our admittedly rather feminine demeanor dominate on the street or in the park or on a movie line, but never do so when among mostly Blacks.
