Is There A Gender Divide In The Black Community In Relation To Tyler Perry?

I am surfing the web and I notice a lot of negative comments from black male bloggers about Tyler Perry. One of the arguments from black men is, Tyler Perry’s movies make black men look bad. Some black gay and heterosexual men believe Tyler has an anti black male agenda. However, I have also read comments from black women and they praise Tyler Perry. Of course, some black feminists don’t like Tyler Perry’s work because they believe he is a misogynist. I am not suggesting all black women like Tyler,  but I feel that more black women like Tyler than black men. What do you think?
