I think it is wonderful that the British soap Coronation Street now has a lesbian storyline. I believe the characters Sophie and Sian have a lot of chemistry. Far too often in pop culture the focus is on gay males and lesbianism is ignored. I think it is refreshing that a lesbianism is now explored on British television and reaching the masses.
