I’ve always wondered if there are any gay or bisexual male athletes. It would be something if some or all of the sports stars pictured were gay or bisexual. I’m sure they have legions of female fans. Finding out that James Blake is gay or bi would make my day. Somehow I don’t think he is. I’ve always wondered about Novak Djokovic and Kobe Bryant. It would be nice to see out male (masculine as well as feminine) athletes to change the perception of gay men. Far too many people think that all gay men are effeminate. I’m not bashing faminine gay men. I consider myself feminine rather than masculine. It’s just that people need to realise there are many masculine gay and bisexual men out there.
Hi Ashley, I believe it is very sad that there is a paucity of gay or bisexual male athletes out of the closet. Why is there an imbalance on the ATP Tour compared to the WTA Tour? I can easily name over ten lesbian tennis stars yet the only gay tennis champion in the history of the sport is Bill Tilden! It is a disgrace that the gay and bisexual male tennis players are hiding in the closet. Next, the straight people due to their heterosexism will say it “doesn’t matter” when obviously sexual orientation does matter.
