Back in October of 2009 the Hollywood Hills hideaway, listed at $1,397,000, was placed on the market by previous owner, actor Henry Simmons.

According to property records the remodeled Mediterranean was snatched up by none other that Dana Owens–otherwise known as Queen Latifah–and her trainer Jeanette Jenkins who paid $1,340,000 for the house in mid-December of 2009.

Listing information shows that walled, gated and perfectly private “mini-compound” includes a 2,096 square foot house with wide plank chocolate brown hardwood floors, 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.
