Gay Rap Video Ride or Die Boy: Can Openly Gay Rappers Succeed In The Rap Industry?
I admit, I am not a fan of rap music because I hate the virulent homophobia and the misogyny. However, I found this video on YouTube and I am shocked. Wow! I didn’t know gay male rappers even existed? I applaud the gay male rappers in this video for having the courage to show their faces in the video and declare their homosexuality. I think it takes guts for these guys to make this video. The lyrics to the song sound good as well.
I believe that Hip Hop is very homophobic, I usually ignore rap music. I figure, why should I listen to music that dehumanize me as a person or support artists that are anti gay? It doesn’t make sense to me. I don’t understand why some gay people like rap music? What is there to like? A lot of male rappers are so homophobic, and misogynist. I hate rap music but I do like the message of this video.
PS: The rapper Lasto is hot he is gorgeous! I think Lasto’s got the looks and the talent to make it in the hip hop industry!
