Last Night I Went To The Bedford Academy I Had A Good Time.

On Monday I received a phone call from my friend Irina she asked “Orville would you like to receive a massage?”

I was surprised, but I thought to myself “well it is no big deal Irina knows I am gay and I feel safe with her.”

Last night, after my lectures I went to my friend Irina’s apartment for a massage. Irina she is a  professional massage therapist and I got to say the massage was pretty good. I don’t know why I was nervous about receiving the massage? The massage was very relaxing and I thought Irina did a good job. We just talked as Irina massaged my body.

After  the massage, Irina she asked me “Orville do you want to go out with me to a bar?” I said “sure.”

Irina and I left her apartment in Davisville and we went downtown to the Starbucks at  Yonge and Bloor. We met Irina’s friends Leona, Jason, and Matt. Irina said she wanted to hang out and have drinks at a classy bar. She thought it would be cool if we went to the Beford Academy.

The Beford Academy is a beautiful bar the design inside the bar is like an intimate setting.  I decided to have two drinks,  Leona she had two drinks and Irina had two drinks. However, Jason and Matt they had several drinks I think they were drunk.  We hanged out at the Bedford Academy until 12:30am and then we all decided to go home.

NFL Star Ben Roethlisberger Accused Of Rape For The Second Time In Less Than Nine Months! Why Is The Media Reticent About This Case?

On Friday March 5th 2010, NFL Star Ben Roethilsberger was accused of sexual assault by a woman at a night club in  Milledgeville Georgia.  This is the second time Roethlisberger has been accused by a woman of rape in less than nine months. In fact, in July 2009 an innocent woman in Las Vegas she claimed that Roethlisberger raped her in his hotel room. Is there a double standard here? When Tiger Woods was accused of having consensual sex with multiple women it was worldwide news. Woods did not break any laws by cheating on his wife.

Michael Vick an African-American male NFL star was harshly criticized for killing animals.

Meanwhile, ESPN.COM refused to cover the Roethlisberger case in July 2009 for several days. Some critics have argued the media’s double standards in relation to dealing with white heterosexual male sexuality is evident in the Roethlisberger case. Is Roethisberger’s white skin male privilege helping him here?

After all, in America, Ben Roethlisberger is a superstar, shouldn’t the media be covering the case with more intensity?

The  Roethlisberger case is very serious he is accused of raping two women. So why is there reticence from the mainstream media to cover this story?  Is Ben Roethlisberger a serial rapist?
