I truly believe that Roger Federer is the best ever player. It pains me to say this because Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi are my favourites. However, Roger has won all four grand slams (though he has yet to beat Nadal at the French Open) and he has spent an astounding number of consecutive weeks as the world number 1.

I can go on and on about Roger’s greatness, but I won’t because there are so many great things about him.

At first, I was surprised to see Nadal so high up, but he has had an amazing career. There is a lot more left for him to achieve in tennis. I’m sure he’ll continue to win grand slams. I expect him to win the US open one day.

As far as I know, nobody else has beaten Roger as many times as Nadal, so I’m sure that this is a factor in this top 10 list.

Honestly, I agree with this top 10 list.

Hi Ashley, Roger Federer is truly the greatest male tennis player I have ever seen play the game. Sampras is good but his weakness is he never won the French Open. In fact, Sampras never reached the French Open final. Roger is better than Sampras because he has won the French Open as you stated. Also, Roger’s overall consistency is better than Sampras.

I think Nadal is truly an incredible tennis player and he will only get better. Andre Agassi is a good player but I don’t think he is as consistent as Ivan Lendl or Jimmy Connors that why’s I placed them higher then Agassi. Lendl and Connors both won the same amount of grand slams as Agassi eight each. Yes, Agassi has won the grand slam but in terms of overall accomplishments and consistency Lendl and Connors are superior to Agassi.
