Are Oprah & Gayle Just Friends Or A Lesbian Couple?
I know this is none of my business, but I have always wondered about something. Lesbian star Rosie O’ Donnell she says Oprah and Gayle are a lesbian couple but they hide their lesbianism. I don’t know about Rosie’s comment? Remember, Rosie is a comedian and sometimes she just likes to stir the pot.
Are Oprah and Gayle just friends or a passionate lesbian couple? What do you think?
I know Oprah and Gayle have been best friends since 1976. However, Oprah has gone beyond the call of duty for her “friend.” Gayle is a successful journalist prior to meeting Oprah in the late 1970s.
For instance, Gayle’s talk show in 1997 was cancelled but the rumor is Oprah helped Gayle acquire her own talk show. Gayle is the the editor in chief of O Magazine. Gayle is divorced, and Oprah is still with Steadman Graham her long term male companion. Maybe, Oprah and Gayle are just two women that are very close and they are like sisters and not lesbians?

If Oprah and Gayle are an item, then good for them, but I really doubt that they are a couple. I don’t believe that Oprah or Gayle are lesbians or bisexual. I think they are just close friends.
Oprah strikes me as the type of person who wouldn’t hide her sexuality if she was a lesbian or bisexual. She seems to live her life unabashedly, truthfully and authentically, and is a strong supporter of LGBT people.
In fact, she has urged down low and closted men and women to come out. If she had an affinity for women, why would she not heed her own advice and be openly gay/bi?
All of these factors make me believe that Oprah is heterosexual.
Hi Ashley, I guess my imagination was just running wild? I have always wondered if Oprah and Gayle are a lesbian couple. I think you are right Oprah and Gayle are heterosexual friends and not lesbians.
A woman in Oprah’s position can trust very few people to have a close and trusting relationship. Gayle and Oprah are friends from years ago. I think some women in general do have very close relationships involving safety, love and trust without it being anything more.
