Li Na Defeats Venus Williams she advances to Australian Open Women’s Semifinals.

Li Na of China  defeated Venus Williams 2-6 7-6 7-5 at the Australian Open quarterfinals today. Venus served for the match  leading 6-2 5-3 yet found a way to lose the match. The result is a like a record repeating, Venus always finds a way to capitulate in the grand slams outside of Wimbledon.

Li deserves credit, she did not give up she found a way to win.  Venus has a history of choking in the grand slam events.

The result is not a surprise,  Li beat Venus at the Olympics two years ago.  Li joins her countrywoman Zie Zheng in the semifinals. The Chinese women have finally arrived at the top of women’s tennis.

Li will enter the WTA top ten next week and this is the first time a Chinese woman has reached the top of women’s tennis.

I believe Venus is so inconsistent, her forehand is garbage and her serve is a weakness. Venus has no self confidence anymore.

Venus is an underachiever, she is so  pathetic I think she will retire if she continues to have these bad results.

Andy Murray Defeats Rafael Nadal Reaches The Australian Open Semifinals.

Andy Murray of the United Kingdom defeated Rafael Nadal of Spain 6-3 7-6 3-0 retired. I sincerely hope the media do not make excuses for Rafael Nadal today.

Once again, Nadal used his typical tricks to try to change the momentum in the match.

Nadal knew Murray’s confidence was high and he wanted to take Murray out of his rhythm.Rafael Nadal is so pathetic and transparent his  dirty tactics backfired!

At the beginning of the third set, Rafael called the trainer during a critical point.

I believe the rules must  change, if a player has an injury he or she should only be allowed to call the trainer at the change over.

Is anyone surprised that Nadal retired from the match? I am so sick of Nadal and his “knee” injuries.

Nadal pulled out of the match because he  was losing and he did not want Murray to beat him 6-0 in the third set.

Now, the media will place an asterisk next to Murray’s win creating an excuse for Nadal.

I resent Rafael Nadal’s disgusting underhanded tactics, his behaviour on the court is disgraceful and unprofessional.

Well, it doesn’t matter what the press say Murray was going to win this match he was very determined.

Congrats to Andy Murray for not crumbling under the pressure in the second set tiebreaker!

Murray outplayed Nadal due to excellent footwork, crisp backhands, big service aces, huge forehands, at critical times in the match. Nadal lost this match, and Murray won it.

Nadal has a horrible record against the rest of the top ten for the past year. Rafael Nadal he has no self-confidence, he doesn’t believe in himself anymore, it is obvious.

The reason Nadal lost is because his serve is still a weakness on the hardcourts. Nadal doesn’t generate the winners necessary to win on the hardcourts in the big matches anymore. He can run around the court like a chicken and play a defensive game. However, Nadal needs to hit the ball flatter and develop more penetrating groundstrokes.

The serve is the most important shot in tennis, it is the shot the player can control. Nadal’s ranking will now drop because he is the defending Australian Open champion.

I don’t feel sorry for Nadal, he needs to stop making excuses about his “knees” and admit he lost because Murray was better.

The second set was critical for Murray to win. I believe if Murray had lost the second set Nadal would not retire from the match.

Nadal would have continued competing “if” he had won the second set. I am very happy that Rafael Nadal has been elimiated from the Australian Open this guy is such a flake.
