L’Oreal Guilty Of Racial Discrimination In France

The cosmetics giant L’Oreal has been found guilty in France for racial discrimination in relation to the company’s hiring  practices.

Only 4.5% of L’Oreal’s hostesses are women of colour.

Last year L’Oreal was criticized for making Beyonce appear “lighter” in advertisements.

Although L’Oreal has used African American stars Beyonce and Kerry Washington in their  ads, they don’t want minorities to be  a part of their

sales staff.

Will women of colour continue to support L’Oreal after this controversy? Should the company be boycotted by women of colour?
