New Kids On The Block New Album “The Block” Is Out!
Yes I will admit it is kind of weird it has been twenty years since New Kids On The Block became global superstars. NKOTB are still here and they now have a very contemporary sound. Does anyone remember the year 1988? Twenty years ago New Kids were the biggest teen stars of that decade. The New Kids fame died down in the early 1990s around 1992 after a world tour. However they prove they are still very talented. Donnie, Jordan, Jonathan, Danny, and Joey still got it!
I have read some negative reviews about the new album the critics are saying New Kids are too old to be singing. The album is an R&B album because the guys sound has evolved they have to change with the times. Do people really want to hear another “Step by Step” or “Hanging Tough” in the year 2008?
I disagree with the critics the guys are giving us fans what we want! I actually think the music is modern the song “Summertime” is beautiful. Also, why would NKOTB sing “bubble gum” lyrics when they are “grown men”? Of course the music is going to be sexual and mature because they are mature adults. I think the critics and the cynics need to just fall back.
Well in the year 2008 New Kids On The Block prove thirtysomething guys can still crank out the hits. NKOTB new album “The Block” had a solid debut at number two on Billboard selling 95,000 copies. Get the deluxe version it has seventeen songs on it and a few ballads.
I will admit I haven’t heard the entire album “The Block” yet but so far so good. I love the songs “single”, “full service” and “Click, Click, Click” it is a very modern R&B song with an eletronic beat. Some people may say the first week sales were not good but NKOTB debut at number two on the American charts. Remember the last album by NKOTB was in 1994 so I think the sales are good. Also New Kids On The Block also debut at number one on the Canadian charts.
New Brandy Single Right Here B Rock Is Back!!!
I love this song the lyrics are very inspirational Brandy is an amazing talent. Brandy has been through some tough times and her vocals are excellent. The message behind the song resonates with me as well. Everyone goes through struggles in life but we have to believe tomorrow will be a better day. I can’t wait for Brandy’s new album!
