Every Saturday afternoon on CNN Frederika Whitfield and Ali Velshi are on the air on CNN. Whitfield and Velshi are also reporters of colour. There is a term used to describe mainstream networks that tends to have their reporters of colour on television during the weekends. The term is called the “Weekend Ghetto.”
