I Love Roger Federer He Is Still A Great Champion!!

Yes the gorgeous Swiss hunk Roger Federer lost the French Open final again today to the callous, ruthless, mean spirited, Spaniard Rafael Nadal. The Spaniards are ruining the French Open they have dominated the clay courts this decade. I just hope next year someone beats Nadal and a Spaniard doesn’t win the French Open.

My heart breaks for Roger today I know he is in so much pain he must feel so embarrassed to lose the final so easily in straight sets. Roger was humiliated today on the tennis court. I am sure Roger would rather crawl back into his bed after this loss and have a good cry after this stinging defeat. Roger has had so much incredible success but finally in 2008 Roger is losing the question is when will Roger bounce back?

All great tennis champions lose the Williams Sisters, Steffi Graf, Martina Navratilova, Monica Seles, Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, Ivan Lendl, all lost big matches. Today’s loss with hurt Roger but I hope he doesn’t give up his dream of winning the French Open.

Roger’s loss today is the worst loss of his entire career. I love Roger Federer so much because despite the loss he is a fighter he tried his best but today it just wasn’t good enough. I just want to wrap my arms around Roger hug him and kiss him gently on his lips and tell him “everything is going to be alright.”

I feel so sorry for Roger today I know he will take this loss really hard. I think maybe Roger needs a break from the game? I just feel like Roger puts so much pressure on himself to win the French Open and today he had no emotional energy he just wasn’t there. Roger tried to serve and volley and attack the net. Roger had one chance in the match he had a break point for 4-3 in the second set but dumped the ball in the net. All of Roger’s unforced errors hurt him today.

Sports isn’t fair and today just wasn’t Roger Federer’s day. Roger is an incredible clay court player the truth is Rafael Nadal is just better on the clay courts. One thing Roger has that Rafael doesn’t have is class. Rafael was so petulant on the court today he clearly doesn’t know how to conduct himself on the tennis court.

Everyone knows Rafael Nadal is an incredible clay court player but I never expected Nadal to just destroy Roger today. I still believe Roger can win the French Open. At least Roger isn’t a quitter like Justine Henin. Roger is going to keep on fighting and believing he can win the French Open. Rafael Nadal can’t play like this forever he will lose at the French Open this is sports no one is invincible forever.

Some people say Roger is on the decline but I just think he has lost his self confidence. It is clear to me today watching the final that Roger didn’t believe he could win the match. I have never seen Roger so uncertain about his shots and his game. Roger made a ton of unforced errors he played sloppy tennis. Well the French Open is the worst slam anyway and Wimbledon is the jewel of the sport. Roger must hold his head high and think about Wimbledon. I love Wimbledon I am so glad this boring French Open is over.

My Poetry Published On The Online Journal SNR Review Spring/Summer 2008 Issue

I received a nice e-mail this morning I learned for the second time this year some of my poems got published. The SNR Review is an online literary journal and my poems “I Still”, “Star Of David”, and “Unknown Territory” got published today. I am really motivated right now to continue writing poetry because now nine poems I have written this year are published. I need to find a way to find more literary connections though. I need to find a new mentor someone that can help me reach the next level.

The question is how do I get published “in print” again? How do I get another another poetry book published? I am trying I have mailed out numerous poetry manuscripts in April 2008. Does anyone have any advice? Anyone know about any publishers accepting poetry manuscripts for publication?

I just crave to be published “in print”. I know I shouldn’t complain and I won’t because it is nice that editors acknowledge they like my poetry. I really do want to my poetry published “in print” again though.
