Hillary Clinton Is Not The Arbiter Of Blacks.
The United States of America claims to be a nation where freedom of religion exists. However, it appears this so called religious autonomy is not truly genuine. In America there appears to be a religious hierarchy since Christianity is at the apex. Judaism is the second most acceptable religion in the United States. However, various religions such as Hinduism, Mormonism, Buddhism, and Islam, are considered inferior. The question is why?
In the United States white American Evangelical Christians are a powerful voting bloc for the Republican party. Evangelical Christians are some of the most racist people in America with political power. The Republican party counts on these religious bigots to obtain their vote. The Religious right utilize religion in their attempts to force their views on to other people. For instance, it has taken decades for the morning after Pill to be approved by the FDA due to the treachery of the religious right. The morning after pill is currently available at United States pharmacies but only to people eighteen years of age or older. Christians lunatics also utilize religion as a weapon to discriminate against religious minorities and homosexuals.
The Democratic party in the United States always claims to be more secular or open minded about religion then the Republican party. Is this really true though? Senator Clinton bluntly patronized Senator Obama by telling him to denounce The Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan. The Nation of Islam is a controversial organization that has actually done some good work for the black community. I don’t agree with all of Louis Farrakhan’s views but I don’t think he is dangerous either.
The sinister message of Hillary Clinton’s “statement” is she seems to think she is the arbiter of blacks.Who does Hillary Clinton think she is? Is Hillary Clinton the arbiter of Senator Obama? What right does Hillary Clinton have to tell Senator Obama who he can or cannot associate with? It is just interesting that white liberals such as Hillary Clinton think they have a right to lecture and patronize black people. Give me a break.
Why doesn’t Hillary Clinton tell the white Jewish community in America to denounce their anti black racism? Clinton’s statement to Obama reeks of paternalism. Why doesn’t Senator Clinton bluntly tell Republican Mitt Romney to denounce Mormonism? After all, there is a section of Mormonism that believes in polygamy. There is a component of the Mormon community in the United States where teenage girls are forced into heterosexual relationships with grown men. Why doesn’t the Democratic party demonize Mormonism? Louis Farrakhan has made some controversial statements about the Jewish community that some interpret as Anti Semitic. However, Farrakhan doesn’t speak for Senator Obama and the Clinton campaign are clearly trying to create religious hysteria and provoke voters to vote for her.
It is well known in the Democratic party in the United States has extremely powerful Jewish community that have a problem with Farrakhan. However, the mainstream media always ignores the racism of the Jews against blacks. The Jewish community in North America hides behind white skin privilege they refuse to acknowledge the power and social currency of whiteness. However, when convenient the Jews hide behind the perfidious lie that they are some “invisible minority” when they are part of the white American majority.
Why is there this double standard to the anti black racism of the Jewish community? Why does this invisible code exist? Are the Jews perfect? It sure seems like it? The mainstream media and even the black media are afraid to call out the pernicious racism and double standards of the Jews. I personally do not subscribe to any religion because I believe religion is a form of social control of the mind. Now this is just my personal opinion. However, I believe people should have the freedom to practice any belief they want with out prejudice.
The Hillary Clinton campaign has been a red alert trying to strike a fear in American voters that Barack Hussein Obama is a Muslim. The Clinton team released a photo of Senator Obama that was taken a few years ago in Kenya dressed in traditional Kenyan clothing wearing a turban. It is well known in North America that there is a strong current of xenophobia and prejudice against Muslim people. We have all heard about driving while black. Have you heard about the new slogan flying while Muslim? The United States government has used the Patriot Act to discriminate against Muslim men.
The truth is Senator Obama is a Christian but because Marsha Brady I mean Hillary Clinton is so desperate she is using scare tactics and igniting islamophobia. Senator Obama is proud of his Kenyan heritage. I find the low down dirty tactics of Senator Clinton’s team pernicious and dangerous. Senator Obama should be proud of his Kenyan heritage but Hillary Clinton is hoping some Americans will become afraid and not want change. Senator Clinton is the same woman that accused Obama of plagiarism a few weeks ago.
However, the governor of Massachusetts Devon Patrick immediately defended his friend Barack Obama. Patrick is only the second African American to become a governor in the United States. Speech writers borrow phrases and quotes all the time from famous speeches from Martin Luther King, John F Kennedy, or Gandhi.
The NPR show “Tell Me More” hosted by Michel Martin had an interesting discussion during the Barbershop segment about Hillary Clinton. Senator Clinton complained that she gets asked the questions in the debates first. However, Ruben Navarrette Jr. program pointed out Senator Clinton was upset because she was asked a “tough first question”. Jimi Izrael called Clinton “Marsha Brady” and she does come across as whining a lot.

Your accusation that the Clinton campaign circulated the photo of Obama in Somali garb is an outrageous lie. If you want to know the truth, you should read Sean Wilentz’s article in the New Republic, published just the other day and titled Race Man. Wilentz is a Princeton historian who has no connection to the Clintons whatsoever, so don’t try the usual Obama tactic to discredit him by saying he’s a Clinton supporter – he doesn’t even know them. I read the article referenced by the commenter above and consider myself a pretty open-minded person…but the article is paper-thin and extremely one-sided…it sounds as if HRC herself (or someone in her camp) wrote it…
With that said, when asked during the debate about the photo, HRC never gave a resounding “No” answer, she eluded the question and gave a roundabout answer about firing anyone who was found to be responsible…
There is no “usual Obama tactic” at work here…but I believe there is a “usual HRC tactic” here…look at how this race has played out and it is clear who has been playing low and dirty…
The AfricanAmerican vote will go to Obama regardless of what is said about him or what his has accomplished or what he lacks, people will never admit it but for the most part he enjoys a 90% vote from AfAm because he is also, if he were white he would never be anywhere near the Presidency with his few years in Politics. The race card is being played by Obama’s camp too, he plays victim of race and ethnicity to get out the base who can relate to his struggles ,AfAmericans. He will have numbers problems in the larger Presidential Election despite the hype by the media, Obama has not won any heavy electorate Democratic based states(Ms. Clinton has beathim in all the Big Democratic States (except his own Illinois). He is winning caucuses and Primaries int the states that go to Republicans in the Presidential election. If people think republicans are going to vote for him(in those states) in the Presidential election, dream on. He can’t even beat Hillary in the big Dem states, how on earth is he going to beat the GOP. Watch the white-flight to the GOP (and as we saw in Texas and Calif the Hispanics are not buying Obamas speeches ) and the DEMS still need a good percentage of the white and hispanic vote to win the Presidential election. Good luck to Obama, because unless the Democratic Party can come together , a loss may come in 2008.
Of course, race is a factor in this Democratic party nomination race. I think John McCain can be defeated because he’s not exactly a favorite of the white Republican party either. Senator Obama’s presence is very important he is demonstrating you don’t need to be white to try. And that’s the most important thing. I think people are sick of the status quo. Do Americans really want almost twenty years of two political families in the White House?
Not all Republicans hate Obama but plenty of Republicans can’t stand McCain. Hillary Clinton has never reached out to black voters why the hell should they support her? Gloria Steinem writes a perfidious and racist article in the NY Times claiming gender is the bigger issue when it is obvious the big issue is race. Hillary Clinton also has a racial background she’s a white American woman from a very powerful political family. The media make a big deal about the fact Hillary Clinton is a woman but she also benefited from the marriage market by being Bill Clinton’s wife. Hillary Clinton already had eight years in the White House. White feminists so often ignore race and focus on gender politics. White feminists such as Hillary Clinton don’t give a damn about black voters. The fact is rich white women such as Hillary Clinton have white skin privilege and access to political power through their white powerful husbands. The big factor in this Democratic party election is race not gender.
The vast majority of the white Hispanics, Asians, and Anglo Saxon whites in California voted for Hillary Clinton because she’s white they would never vote for a black man. The Texas vote was extremely close because there is a strong African American community in that state. Blacks are sick and tired of being taken for granted by the Democratic party. Why can’t a black person smash the glass ceiling? According to media reports Bill Clinton is already rallying the Super delegates to support his sidekick Hillary. So Hillary Clinton also receives a lot of support from her powerful husband Bill Clinton. I don’t see Hillary Clinton as this kind of pioneer she is just another rich white person that has access to political power. The only difference this time is she is a white female. Hillary Clinton never earned her political success if she wasn’t Bill Clinton’s wife she never would be this successful and that’s a fact.
African Americans aren’t just voting for Obama because he’s black they are voting for him because they believe in him and his policies. Also, some black voters are disgusted with the shameless, racist and pathetic tactics of HRC, the Democratic party and her campaign team.
It is true Obama isn’t winning the big states but you ignore another fact the white Hispanics, Asians, and some Anglo Saxon whites won’t vote for Obama because he’s a black man. They have their own racial prejudices and biases against blacks. The mainstream media always seem to ignore this very important point.
I said White flight and Hispanics (also) will include Asians won’t vote for a black candidate based on race. I also think Obama could do anything and still get the black vote, they are voting in a block. He represents something to many black voters and that is fine, but I still say if he were White, he wouldn’t be anywhere near the Presidency and the AfAmer voters would have stayed home. Obama is having trouble in the Democratic stronghold states he’s won “one” so far and don’t think the Democratic Party is not a 50-50 voting party because it is, Hillary is still beating him in those Big States,pulling out wins in Texas and Ohio, after weeks of Obama major dollars, having fantastic press, a unified AFAmerican vote and a drooling US TV-Press over Obama’s charisma and a bashing of Hillary. Obama still is having trouble closing this deal, now I ask people WHY, it something that needs to be asked before people start touting how he can beat McCain.How on earth can he beat McCain if he can’t even beat Hillary in the Big States and the whites, hispanics,asians in those states are not going to just roll over and go vote Obama, because he gets the Nomination. It is a divisive electorate. He is going to need to bring in Hispanics, blue-collar whites,white women, senior citizens,Asians if he’s going to win.
I found this article a little bias. I especially found offence with the thought of the Jewish community being “anti-black.” You obviously don’t know what you are talking about. As a Jew and a Black man, I’m outraged at the thought. It may be me projecting but I got the feeling while reading the article that since the Nation of Islam had a black face that it was the defender of blackness. I understand that the NoI has done great things for the community, but hasn’t the NAACP been very instrumental in the community as well. Do you know the history of the NAACP? Henry Moskowitz was a founding member of the NAACP and was a white Jew as well. Until 1975 the organization’s presidency was predominantly white and heavily Jewish. The Jewish community contributed greayly to the NAACP’s founding and has continued financing. The are many individuals of the Jewish community that have contribute to the Black community such as Joel Spingan, Jacob Schiff, Jacob Billikoph, and Rabbi Stepen Wise. I would like to add that there more than a few, but I am not bold enough to say all Jewish people who aren’t “anti-black.” Hell, I’ve experienced more anti-Semtism in the black than the other way around. In fact I have had an easier time telling people I am gay than Jewish to other Black. Jews are a minority not only in the US, but in the world at large, with the sole expection of Israel.
