Why Is The Racism Of The White Jews Palatable?
I decided for Black History Month instead of discussing the usual prosaic subjects such as slavery, underground railroad, and the Civil Rights Movement.
I am flipping the script. I am turning the page. One issue the Occidental world refuses to explore is the racism of the “invisible minority” the white Jewish community. The question has to be asked, why is the racism of the white Jews palatable?
Why are we silent to the bigotry and prejudice of white Jews? I think the global community should be aware of the history of the racism of Jews against the North American black community.
I mentioned in an earlier post that a white history teacher a few years back at York University attempted to fail and punish me for writing the groundbreaking and explosive piece “Whitewashed Black Studies”. My earth shattering article exposed York University for their pernicious racism against professors of colour.
The racist professor is a white Jewish man. The same Jewish history professor he fired off an angry e-mail to me after the story was published and attempted to destroy me. The white Jewish professor claimed that I have the same ideology as bell hooks about white people. I agree with bell hooks to a certain extent I do believe there should be more black professors teaching black studies. However, I never said whites cannot teach black studies I simply questioned why does the imbalance exist and persist at York University? Isn’t university about provoking thought? Or is university just about maintaining the status quo and conforming to the standards of white supremacy and white cultural domination? Yes, I am talking about the same teacher that attempted to fail me because I challenged his white supremacist views about education.
I also recall a high school white Jewish English teacher in grade twelve she was such a racist bigot!
All my English teacher talked about was how hard Jewish people had it in Canada. My classmates and I we just rolled our eyes because this same teacher always ignored the bigotry of the Jewish community. Last time I checked, the vast majority of Jews are white people in this world. If you look at a white Jew in Canada or America they look like any other white person!
My former English teacher also forgot to mention she also has white skin privilege. The system treats people of colour differently then whites of course my English teacher forgot to mention this fact.
I remember in grade twelve I was walking through the hallway one day and the English teacher wondered why I wasn’t in her class. I just bluntly said “I’m taking grade twelve English correspondence.” There was no way in hell I was going to let this English teacher block me from advancing to university.
If you challenge white Jewish people about their racism they automatically brand you as an “Anti Semite”. Are we supposed to be silent to the hypocrisy and racism of the Jewish community? I certainly don’t think so. It is also interesting, that the racist white Jew Al Jolson is still revered in North America for his abhorrent 1927 film “The Jazz Singer”.
In the movie “The Jazz Singer”, Jolson a white Jew performs in blackface as he demeans black people with various racist caricatures and stereotypes. Recently a Toronto media publication NOW Magazine reviewed this insipid film that is now available on DVD. What artistic merit does this piece of filth have anyway?
The word “Anti Semite”, is a loaded term it is also a weapon the White Jews in Toronto they exploit very well to their advantage. The word freezes you in your steps, it makes you question if you cannot speak up about the Jews deleterious anti black racism. Why is there this insidious double standard?
A few years ago, the white Jewish former mayor of Toronto Mel Lastman he made a racist statement against Toronto’s black community. At the time, Lastman uttered the deleterious statement the city of Toronto was attempting to win the bid to host the summer Olympics. Mel Lastman stated that he didn’t want to visit Africa because he was afraid of being skinned alive. The international media was horrified and disgusted with Lastman’s racist comments.
By contrast, the Toronto press of course immediately jumped to Lastman’s defense and downplayed his obvious pernicious bigotry. Even some house Negroes in the black community in Toronto defended Lastman. Is the white Jewish community in Toronto free from criticism? It sure seems like it.
In the Occidental world, there seems to be this double standard where the invisible code of the white Jewish community’s racism is ignored. It is also interesting that white Jews hide behind the currency of whiteness and utilize their white skin privilege when it is convenient for them.
The mainstream media will rally to support all the causes of the white Jewish community regardless of whether there is any merit to it or not. The “invisible minority” status of the white Jewish community is a social blanket that works for them. However, when white Jews are challenged about their own racism against people of colour they play with the issue of race and revert back to their “invisible minority status”.
Next, as I entered university I learned about the pernicious racism of the Jews against Palestinian people in Israel. Just like South Africa, the Palestinians that live in Israel have to have identification cards and pass through check points. Also, did you know the black Jews in Israel also encounter a lot of racism from white Jewish majority? I wonder why this isn’t mentioned on the Six O’ Clock news or in the print media? There are double standards, hypocrisy and racism of these white Jews!
In May 2007, an African American speaker Malik Shabazz was going to speak to black students at Ryerson University about the importance of education. The racist white Jewish group B’nai B’rith used their political power and influence to have Mr. Shabazz barred from entering Canada. Since when are white Jews the decision makes for the black Toronto community?
Of course, Premier Dalton McGunity supported B’nai B’rith because he wanted to score some cheap political points. If the Ontario government is so concerned about hate speech why wasn’t racist homophobic minister Fred Phelps from protesting against gay gays a few years ago? It appears despite Phelps bigotry he received a free pass from the Ontario government because he is white and Malik Shabazz was barred because he’s a black man.
It was a incredible moment where white supremacy and prejudice prevailed. The Canadian media has a pathetic, racist, and hypocritical perspective when it relates to the racism of the Jewish community in Toronto.
Of course, just a few weeks ago the anti black slurs splashed across the black student office at York University in Toronto generated some press. However, why did it take Mamdouh Shoukri the president of York University two days to respond? Would Shoukri wait two days to respond to the white Jews?
It is well known York University has a very large white Jewish student population. If someone vandalized the white Jewish student office at York University you can be certain there would of been an immediate response ASAP. However, when racism occurs against black people there is only double standards, racism, and indifference.

While racism against Blacks does exist to some extent within the Jewish community, Jews have also played a powerful role in the civil rights movement and continue to this day to champion the rights of minorities.

To call B’nai B’rith racist is absurd. B’nai B’rith (via the ADL) has a proud record of fighting against anti-Black discrimination. Today they are leading the charge against anti-immigrant discrimination, and have been recognized by the leadership of the Council of La Raza as such.
The ADL just so happens to believe that the Nation of Islam is a hate group, a belief that the NOI is all to eager to substantiate with its leaderships’ repeated attacks on the Jewish community.
Read Shabazz in his own words and tell me with sincerity that his remarks are not hateful.

Your racist portrayal of “the Jews” as being all of one mind is chilling.
Mobius. B’nai B’rith has done some good deeds in the past. However, I don’t see the goal of B’nai B’rith to censor a speak tat just wants to talk to black youth about education. You also attempt to downplay the hypocrisy and racism of the Jewish community. Again, why is there this double standard? The Jewish community does have white skin privilege yet they fail to acknowledge this. White Jews cannot compare their struggles in the modern world to people of colour. White Jews are a part of the white majority. The black students at Ryerson University wanted to talk about education that was the focus of the discussion. What right does the Toronto Jewish community have with telling black university students what do do? I believe B’Nai B’rith is the one fostering this poison environment and creating miscommunication. the homophobic minister Fred Phelps was allowed to enter Canada and spread hate speech a few years ago. It is clear the Ontario government has no problem with Phelps because he is white and are fearful of Shabazz because he’s a black man.
Gini I speak the truth and I provided examples to my argument yet all you did was make a statement out of anger. Next time, try to back up your argument with some facts.

To tar an entire people with brush, to presume that they are all of like mind, as you did, is just one manifestation of racism. This is an observation, not an argument.
I provided specific examples of the hypocrisy and racism of Toronto’s Jewish community. I did not presume anything, and yet you refuse to acknowledge the current of anti black racism of the Toronto Jewish community. I provided specific examples to back up my arguments. Again, can’t the Jewish community be challenged about the issue of racism? Why is there this invisible code? Mel Lastman was a former mayor of Toronto he’s a spokesperson for the city. The Toronto media defended Lastman despite his pernicious anti black comments.
Rereading my previous posts, I see that I’ve written nothing to indicate that I “refuse to acknowledge the current of anti black racism of the Toronto Jewish community”. However, I will say that you are absolutely correct. I do not see the Toronto Jewish community as anti-black racists. This is not to say that there aren’t anti-black racists found within the community. However, this is not at all the same thing.
As you’ve twice brought up the issue of examples, allow me to address. B’nai B’rith aside (which I’ll touch upon later), you mention individuals, not organizations. The “Jew Al Jolson” (“revered”, really?) and Mel Lastman were not spokesmen for the Toronto Jewish community. I’ll step out on a limb here – I’m betting your “Jewish history professor” and “racist bigot” “high [sic] English teacher” weren’t either.
I find your memory of Lastman’s comments interesting in that they differ so greatly with my own – from his remarks (was his fear not being thrown in a pot of boiling water?) to the reaction of Toronto media (which I remember as being critical, as is indicated by your CBC link). Examples, please?
Describing B’nai B’rith’s as a “racist Jewish group”, you focus exclusively on their objection to the speaking invitation extended by Ryerson to Malik (“Kill every goddamn Zionist in Israel! Goddamn little babies, goddamn old ladies! Blow up Zionist supermarkets!”) Shabazz.
Why ignore the proud, distinguished and accomplished work done by B’nai B’rith in the area of civil rights?
Why paint all Toronto Jews – Stephen Lewis and Naomi Klein, included – with the same brush?
There is a great distinction between “racism of the Jews” (as you write) and “racism of some jews” (my words). As a wordsmith, you must surely recognize this difference.
I agree that the Jews can get away with much more racism – especially in the UK more so than in the US. They use thier “whiteness” to cozy up to English folks. And then they spout some of the worst obscenties under the safety blanket of anti-semitism.
It’s dissapointing, to say the least – mainly becoz they can’t be called up on it.
Some Jews are racist and some Jews aren’t. I’ve met both kinds. I am a Jewish girl but I don’t look like your typical Jewish girl. I don’t have white skin, brown hair, obvious Jew features and my name isn’t Rachel.
I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t care if they accept me as Jewish anymore. It’s taken me long enough to accpet myself as Jewish. I’ve found that Israelis are the nicest people ( the ethnic Israelis) when it comes to being Black. they understand. Also, many of the Ashkenzai Jews were born to families who were persecuted and they feel the need to take it out on someone. But not all Jews are racist. Look at the American Jewish community, they’ve rallied behind Obama!
Like my Gram always said : ” You can’t judge a Jew by it’s cover, only by it’s Torah.” So if someone questions how you can be black and be Jewish, tell them to read their Torah!

let me correct you…the majority of Jews Worldid are not white…there are Black African Jews from East, west and south Africa. Yemenites which have shades that vary from black to brown, Indian Jews (Manaseh’s tribal line they are technically Hebrews), Chinese Jews, Sephardic Jews that have olive complexions and originate from North Africa, Black American Jews (non-converts) that include the dark skinned actor Yaphet Kotto, and light skinned musician Bizzy Bone!
When you say Jew or Hebrew you must be specific!
Many of the White Jews that you encounter in America are Askenazic..from eastern europe…some were descendants of American slave owners according to author Tony Martin…others were not…some engage in racist activity others do not…

There is racism is in every community..and those that practice it should be exposed..but we must remember that …if you use the word ALL or MOST..in our criticism.. of social problems.. .then are analysis is no better than the racists
Will you be happy if blacks are racist towards whites and make racist comments about them.White people live in peace in Africa and are not victimized in any way whatsoever so why blacks abroad.I have been following the development of attacks in Gaza and i think there is a holocaust going on there.I think these acts should be condemned by the international community the same way the Holocaust was condemned.

Jews, from what I’ve observes, are, among other things, good at monopolizing power, and they will “champion” whatever group they see as possessing a strong political base, so they can garner good will among those people. That way, they can increase their political influence. They see people as a marketplace.
